Over a Century of Middle Tennessee Comfort
Reese Heating and Air has been in the heating and air conditioning industry longer than any other HVAC business in Middle Tennessee. Our story spans five generations of one family, and it all started with a young tinsmith and a whole lot of hard work.
Our Family History
Reese Heating and Air has kept Middle Tennessee comfortable longer than any other company in the region. The story began in 1899 when Charles Henry "C.H." Reese began his career as a tinsmith. By 1916, he had opened his own shop and would later become one of the first contractors in Nashville to offer central air conditioning. As the business grew, C.H. brought his sons into the trade, and their early craftsmanship can still be seen in Nashville landmarks like Vanderbilt University and The Life & Casualty Tower.
More than a century later, the company is still owned and operated by the same family, five generations deep, and still holds to the standard C.H. set. An American Standard Customer Care Dealer trusted with everything from family homes to Nashville institutions, Reese has never leaned on gimmicks or low-ball pricing to win business; it runs on word of mouth from generations of satisfied customers, season after season. The approach hasn't changed in nearly 100 years: honest, expert work, straightforward pricing, and treating every customer like a neighbor.
